A Kindergarten helps in nurturing a child’s brain for creativity and learning new things in life and at the same time preparing the child physically for the stresses of the future life. A teacher thus acts as a parent for the child at school.

Play is the way that the children learn about themselves and the world they live in the process of mastering familiar situations and learning to cope with new ones, their intelligence and personality grow, as well as their bodies. The environment for play must be rich in experience and it must be, to a significant extent, under the control of the child. It must allow each child to exercise choice and to grow, safely at his own rate.

Good parenting is as important for children as it is for parents. A child, who takes his first step into school, is confused and puzzled as for the first time since his birth, he is staying away from his parents, among unknown and unfamiliar faces. He can adapt to the new environment only if he gets an atmosphere similar to the one at home.
